Second in TION’s family of revolutionary suppressors is our Grenadier handgun suppressor. Like the Minuteman it uses our patented Gas Indexing Technology (GIT) [U.S. Patent 9,410,761]. GIT allows the rotational orientation of baffles as one relates to the next in a given stack to take advantage of differences in pressures between handguns and rifles. This provides optimum sound reduction on a host of different firearms as you re-configure stacks when transferring the suppressor between a handgun and a rifle. Piston Nut Compatibility Disclaimer
The TiON Grenadier suppressor offers two types of Piston Nuts: the Standard Piston Nut and the Reduced Slide Pressure (RSP) Piston Nut.

Standard Piston Nut: The default option, designed for reliable performance with a wide range of handguns. It provides consistent cycling and recoil management for most pistols.

RSP Piston Nut: Ideal for pistols with higher recoil or those requiring smoother cycling, such as the Sig P320 and FN509. The RSP Piston Nut reduces slide pressure, making it perfect for these specific models.
Important: The Standard MG Spacer only works with the Standard Piston Nut, while the RSP MG Spacer is only compatible with the RSP Piston Nut. Always verify compatibility before purchasing to ensure optimal performance.

I have a very early Grenadier 45 – from way back before TiON made the Grenadier line in 9mm. The suppressor continues to have a long and admirable service life on a Beretta 92, and occasionally on borrowed .45acp pistols. While the .45-cal suppressor is needlessly long and over-bored for 9mm use, it still performs quite well. Thanks to the all-titanium construction of this suppressor, I will be able to service it indefinitely for whatever guns it sees use on in the future.
Don’t forget to clean your booster assembly periodically. Also keep some CLP on the outside of the piston and o-rings so it moves smoothly from lubrication, and dissolves carbon as it accumulated. In the field or before use, I like to point the suppressor downwards, put a few drops of CLP on the piston, and then pull on the suppressor body a few times to let it work in and down to the two o-rings housed within the “nut”.
All of the Grenadier suppressors are very versatile in the mounting options! You can use included booster assy with pistons of nearly any thread pitch. You can “lock it out” by replacing the spring with a fixed barrel spacer for use on most rifles. You can install a tri-lug kit in the “basket” instead of the piston and spring. Secret tip: you can also use the Dragoon 450B mounts for a simple, low-mass, low-cost, probably-a-decibel-quieter option on fixed-barrel rifles.
