Our mission is to engineer and manufacture cutting-edge products that bring new design principles and actions to the marketplace only when these designs and actions exceed current standards in sound reduction, durability, ease of maintenance/cleaning, weight-to-performance, and ease of takedown utilizing commonly available tools.

Our story begins in 1992 as a retail firearms business in New Freedom, Pennsylvania focused on tactical firearms. In 1995, we relocated to a new retail facility in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania and added gunsmithing to our list of services. Our facility expansion continued in 2006 with the opening of a full-service training, shooting range, retail firearms, and gunsmithing facility in Glen Rock, Pennsylvania. This gave us ample experience handling, selling, and servicing some of the most popular — and obscure — suppressors on the market. And as an evolution of suppressors in the marketplace unfolded over the next few years, we had a thought we couldn’t shake.
Suppressors could be so much better.
Fast forward to 2012 — the year we put nearly two decades of planning and prototyping to the test with the release of what would become our first suppressors. Core innovations of these suppressors included:
- Non-welded, pure titanium construction
- Total Breakdown Technology for easy cleaning
- Patented Gas Indexing Technology for improved performance across multiple firearms
- Revolutionary Quick Detach (QD) Mounting System, achieving total repeatability
As the years passed, we made it a point to only consider designing a new suppressor model if there was a need for it in the market — either to fill a hole, or provide a higher quality, better-performing option than what was already there.
We officially changed our name to TiON, Inc. in 2019 to mark the beginning of a new era — an era focused solely on producing the best suppressors available. This decision culminated in the sale of our retail firearms facility in 2023.
Now located in Red Lion, Pennsylvania, our goal is the same as it’s always been — to engineer and manufacture the lightest, highest-quality suppressors on the market that are completely user serviceable with common tools.
Some said it couldn’t be done — but shattering expectations with groundbreaking innovations is what makes us who we are.

TiON's Testing Standards. Credible Testing Results
There are many factors that influence the decibel rating and tone of a suppressor, which can make it confusing to understand how a suppressor really sounds before you test it out for yourself.
To establish the most credible suppressor testing results, we follow the stringent testing standards and procedures outlined in Alan C. Paulson’s book Silencer: History and Performance, Volume 1: Sporting and Tactical Silencers, Chapter 5.
